How does an Evaporative Air Conditioner Works?
Evaporative air conditioning uses evaporation to
cool the air. In an evaporative cooler, such as Breeze air, a pump circulates
water from the reservoir on to a cooling pad, which in turn becomes very wet. A
fan draws air from outside the unit through the moistened pad. As it passes
through the pad, the air is cooled by evaporation. The key to effective
evaporative cooling is ensuring that each of the cooling pads are completely
saturated at all times during evaporation and that the systems fan & motor
are sized and designed to deliver the appropriate airflow for the home.
A Breamar air conditioner works the same way. Hot
air enters the cooling unit on your roof where it is filtered and cooled as it
passes through specially designed moistened cooling pads. A fan then blows the
beautifully cooled air throughout the home.
Hot air in the house is forced out through open windows
and doors providing your entire home with a complete change of air at least
every two minutes.
